This is the biggest update to Omniplex since launch. The short version: servers stopped being second-class citizens, voting got easier to understand, and you now have a real way to get help and control your own data.
Servers can do everything bots can
Since Omniplex launched, Premium, the Shop, and Certification only ever worked for bots. A server could carry a "Certified" badge in its UI, but there was no way to actually earn one the backend simply never granted it. That's fixed.
- Certification now has a server track, reviewed the same way a bot's is.
- Premium can be bought for a server, with the same shorter vote cooldown and badge a premium bot gets.
- The Shop works for servers too spend a server's earned vote credits on a priority boost, a featured homepage slot, a Supporter badge, or a Vote Blitz.
If you run a server on Omniplex, all of this is live right now under Premium, Shop, and Apps just switch the toggle from Bot to Server.
Certification got more forgiving
The old rule needed a bot to clear two thresholds at once enough servers and enough unique clicks, no exceptions. That meant a bot doing great on one metric but average on the other got rejected outright.
Certification is now an OR across three metrics instead of an AND across two: servers, unique clicks, or votes. Excel at any one of them and you qualify. Servers use the same logic, scaled to member count instead of server count.
Weekend voting, actually visible
The Friday–through–Sunday double-vote bonus has existed for a while, but nothing ever told you it was happening. Now, when it's live, you'll see a banner right above the vote button. The boundary itself is also pinned to UTC, so "the weekend" means the same thing no matter where you're voting from.
A real support ticket system
Getting help used to mean hoping someone saw your DM or in server ticket. Now there's /tickets pick a topic, describe the issue, and keep a real conversation thread with staff. You can close a ticket yourself once it's resolved, and reopen it later if the issue comes back.
Your data is yours
A new Security tab on your dashboard gives you two things GDPR-style self-service requests are supposed to give you and rarely do:
- Download your data a full copy of your account, teams, votes, reviews, and tickets as a JSON file, right from the dashboard.
- Delete your account permanently, with a clear confirmation step so it can't happen by accident.
Neither of these used to have any interface at all you'd have had to file a ticket and wait on staff to do it manually. Now it's instant, self-service, and entirely in your control.
Legal pages that are actually ours
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use, and a Service Agreement, all rewritten from scratch for what Omniplex specifically does, and hosted at /legal instead of linking out to our parent company's generic pages. If you're curious what we collect and why, it's a short, plain-language read.
Everything else
A round of visual polish: premium and certified bots/servers get a subtle accent-colored glow on their cards instead of blending into the same gray border as everything else, the homepage gives servers equal billing with bots, and search will point you toward Premium, the Shop, Apps, or Tickets if that's clearly what you were looking for.
A few bugs also got fixed along the way * stale avatars showing in pack previews, the Gold premium plan quietly granting fewer days than it should have, and booster premium redemption that could silently fail without telling you.
As always, the full technical changelog is at omniplex.gg/changelog if you want the details.
