The Friendly Shadow

A powerful moderation bot, that has many fun twists!

The Friendly Shadow is a powerful moderation bot, with many fun twists!

It can do almost any moderation action, from muting to banning, and can even give out warnings!

What are the fun twists you ask?

Trials!

Moderators can put users on trial for the community to decide their punishment! (Of course, this is subject to moderators' decisions).
Run the starttrial command and users will be able to vote on a punishment for a set amount of time!

How to use The Friendly Shadow!

When you first add the bot you may note that it asks for administrator permission. This is due to the large number of moderation actions the bot uses, and it makes it easier to not have to specify every permission needed. I understand if you are unsure or don't want to add the bot with admin, so you may use this link to add the bot: The invite

Now that the bot is added, please proceed to use the /setup slash command o

This bot uses slash commands!

One you have used the setup command you are pretty much ready to go!

Note: the setup command requires admin perms

You can use the /config list command to see all of your set settings.

###How do I use trials?

Simple! After reading above and using the /setup command, your good to go!
The command will go something like this:
/starttrial @goose 1h abusing commands
Then, the bot will start the trial in your set judgechannel!

If you don't have one set (set with the setup command), you can use the /config judgechannel #channel command to set one!

It's that easy!

Modlogs

Modlogs are a channel that the bot will send messages when a moderator does a moderation action using the bots commands! It is set in the setup command, but if you want to change/remove it, you can do the /config modlog #channel command!

Muting

To mute users, simply use the /mute <member> [reason] command! This uses the servers set muterole so the user can’t talk in any channels or join voice channels! If you want to do a timed mute, use the /timeout <member> <time> [reason]. This uses the timeout feature on discord and restricts access on all channels for the specified duration. The downside to the timeout command is that there is a max duration as well as this restricts access to ALL channels not just ones the muterole doesn't have perms to talk in. To unmute, use the /unmute command and to untimeout, use the /untimeout command

Thanks for using the bot and please give me feedback and suggestions in the support server!
