Voting Rules & FAQ
How voting works on Omniplex, including cooldowns, vote weight, weekend bonuses, and vote-ban policy.
How voting works
You can vote for a bot or server once per cooldown period. Each vote counts as 1 vote per user by default.
Cooldowns
- The standard cooldown between votes is 12 hours.
- Premium bots and servers have a shorter cooldown of 4 hours.
- On weekends (Friday through Sunday, UTC), non-premium bots, servers, packs, and teams get a double-vote weekend bonus: each vote counts for 2, and the cooldown is halved to 6 hours. The boundary is UTC regardless of your own timezone, so the bonus may start or end a few hours earlier or later than local Friday/Sunday depending on where you are. Premium entities already have the shorter 4-hour cooldown and don't additionally get the weekend bonus.
If you try to vote again before your cooldown ends, you'll see how long you need to wait before you can vote again.
Upvotes and downvotes
Bots, servers, packs, and teams all support both upvotes and downvotes. Voting again before your cooldown ends is blocked regardless of direction you can't use a downvote to immediately reverse an upvote (or vice versa) within the same cooldown window.
Vote credits
Every vote a bot receives can be converted into spendable credits and used in the Shop for things like bonus premium days, priority placement, and more. See Vote Credits & the Shop for the full breakdown.
Vote abuse
Using alternate accounts, vote-selling, vote-for-vote schemes, or any other form of vote manipulation is strictly prohibited. Accounts caught doing this can be vote banned a vote ban blocks you from casting any further votes and can be applied independently of a full account ban. If you believe you were vote banned by mistake, open a support ticket.
